Olympics 2012 - A Gift of Quilts
'A Gift of Quilts' was conceived as a way to make a gift of friendship to each country taking part in the Olympics and Paralympics by giving them a quilt.

With full support of this project by Lord Sebastian Coe, President of the Olympic Organising Committee 2012, Kaffe Fassett, Brandon Mably and The Quilters Guild of the British Isles it is an exciting way to take part in the Games without being an Athlete!

The aim is to encourage not only quilters but individuals, groups, schools, colleges, women's organisations, church groups in fact anyone who can hold a needle to help design, create and donate a quilt towards the 500 needed for the project to succeed.

Brandon's King Bladud's Pig
Summer 2008, Bath, England
Brandon Mably has decorated a pig to be displayed along side 100 hundred other individually decorated life size pig sculptures throughout the summer all around Bath.

The project is to celebrate the legend of King Bladud who together with his pigs discovered the hot springs and went on to found the city of Bath. All pigs will be auctioned for charity in October.
